The Oaxaca coast is a less built-up Mexico: long beaches, small towns and the culture the whole state is famous for, from its cuisine to mezcal. It draws surfers, digital nomads and people who would rather have peace and quiet than big hotels.
The market is younger and less settled than on the Riviera Maya, so choosing a property takes extra care: checking the status of the land, the permits and access to utilities. In return, prices are still lower and the region is only starting to grow.
